1992
preliminary work on the document which later became the Gumption Memo
1993
finished writing the original Gumption Memo
printed about 25 draft copies and had them reviewed
printed about 370 copies and gave them to friends, family, etc.
1994
created a revised and updated 1994 Gumption Memo
printed about 750 copies and distributed them more widely
gave many copies away at Kepler's bookstore in Menlo Park, California
offered copies for sale at Kepler's for a couple bucks each but nobody bought any
wrote to literary agents about getting the Gumption Memo published but quickly learned that there's not much market for this
1995
created a World Wide Web HTML version of the Gumption Memo
gave away the last of the Gumption Trust money -- $83,000 in all
1996
wrote up a short Final Accounting of the Gumption Trust project
